Nautique BIG DAWG Series Europe : Qualifiers in Baurech
The stage of the Senior Waterski Tour (SWT) will also be a BIG DAWG ™ qualifiers for the West Palm Beach final.
This is a great surprise to us concocted by Thierry Malhomme confirming that the Senior Waterski Tour stage (August 13th and 14th) will also be a BIG DAWG ™ qualifiers and vice versa …
What does that mean in plain text?
- First, the contest format is similar to a BIG DAWG ™qualifiers, in fact nothing less than the format used during the 2010 SWT stage in Baurech: 50 skiers max and a final A of 16 skiers to Head, Head (the sweet sixteen of the BIG DAWG ™) and a final B for the others (regular format or Head to Head again, the format remains to be defined with the organizer); In SWT every skiers ski 3 times.
- Second, that the first eight of the final (those who pass the first round of the H2H) will be qualified for the final in West Palm Beach in late September
- Finally, and regardless of the interest that you can bring (or not) to such an American final, this event will bring some new skiers and so put a little pepper and bring lots of entertainment. Thierry Malhomme in touch with Jeremy Newby Ricci, the Italian F. Merlo and S. Palambo should have more to be done than usually….
Constraints lifted.
The Senior Tour in contact with the bodies of BIG DAWG ™ last November to study the feasibility of a common step, had just dropped the case against the various constraints, including the requirement to use main sponsor boat Nautique. No obvious opportunity to bring together all conditions.
No matter to Thierry that brought down the walls one after the other until the opportunity to equip his ski school with two Nautique 200. Thank you to him for all his past and future efforts. Big Dawg series Europe will be using the structures os the European Senior Waetrski Tour. Both sides win from this jonction.

As all stages of the SWT, the same conditions to attend:
• Be members of the SWT
• Have paid the registration fee within the first 50 skiers. (90 €) ( so first stage will require 90 + 90 = 180€)
